I've listened to the podcast and found it so delightful that I will 're-listen' later this afternoon. I love the openness about finding your own formula! It was and is deeply refreshing and diametrically different than Dr. prescribed food plans that are rigid and without any flexibility or acknowledgement or encouragement to listen to your own body.

Also, I'm wondering if Sarah would share her recipe for her morning kale smoothie?

Thank you so much for your work and this podcast! Jill

Hi Jill, this makes me so happy to hear! There's so much diversity in how we feed ourselves and our families, and that it all comes down to listening to our own bodies and needs of those we feed. I will ask Sarah for the smoothie recipe and report back!

Thank you for asking Sarah. She was totally magnanimous and shared a link to several summer smoothies.

In the spirit of sharing . . . . I always keep lots of bottles of homemade broth in my frig and freezer which are used for a morning wake-up or a mid-afternoon pick me up. The broth can be your choice as long as it's homemade (chicken, veggie, bone). Mornings are easy to bring the broth to a boil and drop in an egg. Afternoons, I enjoy broth with chopped up baby bok choy . . . . it has the most wonderful nourishing mineral flavors that make my body so happy. I hope you try and enjoy. Thank you again. Jill

Jill, I literally just finished a mug of warm bone broth (albeit, mine was store bought)!! Like you, I find broth to be so nourishing (I have a hard time with cold drinks or smoothies, except in the height of summer). I love that you make your own keep it on hand for quick snacks. You’re inspiring me!

Hi Jill, thank you for listening! I'm only now just chiming in as my kids just started back to school today and I'm eager to re-listen to our conversation.

Yes, will happily share the kale smoothie recipe from my third book, Every Day is Saturday! You can find the recipe, here! https://www.edibleliving.com/journal/fresh-summer-drinks

I hope you enjoy! Sarah
